All standard Scovill Ballcocks are supplied with engineered plastic plungers. These plunger assemblies were introduced several years ago to improve functional performance and extend service life of CESCO's toilet float valves. They are strong, have excellent lubricity and virtually eliminate scale and mineral deposits in areas with aggressive water conditions. However, CESCO continues to supply brass plungers on each of its Scovill Models when requested by customers. When placing orders for Scovill toilet float valves, customers that want Models with brass (rather than the standard plastic plungers) should simply order one 8729XY for each ballcock unit ordered. CESCO will automatically substitute brass plungers, adding the surcharge indicated for each ballcock ordered. Per order qty = 1 for each Scovill ballcock with brass plunger.
