“… I installed them [two Scovill Model 16AK ballcocks] about 1-1/2 months ago. I wanted to let them perform a bit before giving you my observations: 1) The original location for the rim feed is capped with a rubber fitting that I was concerned would not stay in place over a period of time. So far so good, but I wonder if there is a more permanent way to plug that orifice. 2) I like the compression fitting for the rim wash diverter valve connection. This is much better that the old original ballcock that has a friction fit connection. 3) It is good that you allow some cross over applications by adding the additional fittings if the original ballcock did not have a diverter valve and/or it is broken. Good value. It is nice to know that there are still a few manufacturers who care about what the tradesmen think. Overall, I think you have come up with a quality replacement that is far superior to the OEM parts. I will be ordering more as I need them. Thank you!"
